Workflow Audit
Define the decision a workflow should make and the state it should leave behind. Exercise every path. Compare observed state to that contract, isolate the mismatch, apply a narrow fix, and run the paths again.
The case that started it (September 25, 2026)
In our synthetic GIFT One fraud demo, a EUR 875 card retry on a new device was held for review. The screen said no money had moved. At the analyst decision, clicking Decline showed the Release screen. The two buttons were wired to different values, but the result renderer always picked the release screen. We ran a local test of the original and the repaired function for both actions, then deployed the fix. The write-up is in the repository as docs/gift-one-workflow-audit.md.
Where this stands
Workflow Audit is a prototype. The case above is real, in a synthetic setting. We have not run it against a customer system.
